MISSGUIDED Red Swimsuit| FOREVER 21 Distressed Denim Jacket| CHARLOTTE RUSSE Gold Cuff

This look was inspired by the concept of loving the skin you're in, more than anything. Don't get me wrong, I love me a good beach day but this was more about celebrating my body, flaws and all.

A year ago, you would have never caught me dead in a swimsuit, I was terribly insecure about my stretch marks, among other things lol. Not only have I found ways to go about that but I am genuinely not affected by how my body is perceived by other people anymore.

Of course, I have not reached my dream body goals yet but I am working on it, at my own pace. In the meantime, I will be loving the skin I'm in:)

Let's get into the outfit details, shall we?

So funny story, I never actually ordered this swimsuit myself but nonetheless I absolutely LOVE it! I ordered just a choker from Missguided and this amazing swimsuit was included in the package. I'm not sure how that happened but thank you Missguided lol.

The swimsuit came in my size, so I just figured it was fate. For this look, I paired it with my fave distressed denim jacket from Forever 21. Ladies, if you're looking for a bomb denim jacket on a budget, you can head over to the F21 site, I think I paid $30 for this, you can thank me later:)

The color of the denim is perfect and it is distressed in all the right places. You will definitely be seeing more of this jacket on my Instagram. I mentioned earlier that I am self conscious about my stretch marks. It doesn't affect me all that much anymore but I tied the jacket around my waist anyways, for control lol. For jewelry, I added my trusted gold cuff, just to spice it up a little.
