BOOHOO Long Sleeved Silk Shirt| MISSGUIDED Silk Pants

Hi Lovelies!

Sooo....I'm super excited about this post! I have always wanted to do a shoot in New York City and I'm so glad it finally happened a few weeks ago. I am truly a metropolitan girl - I love the city, skyscrapers, the history, the energy - it all just makes me feel alive.

For this look I wanted to capture the 'classic' blog poses, for example, shooting against a colorful background or in front of a fancy door. But I also wanted to capture the hustle and bustle of the city and the famous yellow cabs (of course) lol.

I absolutely love how the shots came out :) Now, lets get into the outfit deets shall we?

So this look was definitely all about this lovely animal-print, long sleeved shirt. I know its ALOT but when I saw it I knew I just had to have it.

The silky texture and animal print are very much en vogue and it kinda reminded me of the famous Versace shirts therefore as a liker of things, the shirt belonged in my closet. This shirt is also great for transitioning seasons. The weather in NYC on this day was all over the place, it couldn't decide if it was winter or summer so this shirt was perfect. It is long sleeved so it keeps you warm but its also a pretty light material so you won't burn up when it gets hot.

This shirt is also a button up which makes it very versatile. I unbuttoned a few of the top buttons and slid it off my shoulders and I was LIVING for the off-shoulder look. For pants, I had on some silk pants for a more polished look but you could also wear this shirt tucked in a skirt, with leggings, regular pants., jeans..the possibilities are endless. Silky long sleeved shirts are a great investment, trust me!
